Hmmm.. this is puzzling.
You could remove Access 2010 if you're not going to use Access for anything else.
If you want me to check your Easy Invoicing UK database you can send it to me for testing. |

Hello,
Installing the newer version of Office should not have altered the print settings but it may have done, somehow.
Please re-check your default printer settings: make sure one printer has the 'Default' tick by it, and that under 'Properties' your Device Settings and Printing Preferences all have A4 Portrait set.
If there is a default page option in Access 2010 you may need to check this, too. |

Hello,
I have been working on a small project that will extend the reporting aspect of Easy Invoicing UK 8.
I think I would be able to extend that further to include a breakdown of client history.
Please give me a few days to work on this and I will post another message when it's ready for testing:

Hi Garry
Is it possible to print out a particular clients account. when you go into process accounts and select a particular account (customer) there is only the facility to print unpaid invoice statement, is there anyway way you can print their full history, I have managed to ctrl print screen, paste into word and then print but it is a long way round and doesn't look that good.

Hello,
The format of the emailed PDF files is defined by your 'Default Printer' settings.
Please check your Default Printer Settings 'Preferences' are set to A4 portrait. |

Hello,
Users are entitled to copies of the latest release of the version they are using.
Easy Invoicing UK 9 will be a completely separate product in it's own right (the completed project may have a different name altogether).
If the first portion of your business name is the same for each copy of Easy Invoicing UK 8 your Unlock Code should work (you may want to try this first). If it's for the same business outright you would not be in breach of any license agreements. |

What a relief, thank so much |
|
|
|
so once you purchase you are restricted to the same version number?
as you register on a 'business name' basis i have to ask the question.. i have a limited company that has 4 business' running under it using slightly different names depending on the dealings (eg: Storage, Haulage, etc)
how would that effect the operation of the registration? i'd have to purchase for each department? |

I am in the process of writing a small database that will link into an Easy Invoicing UK 8 database and produce a series of customisable reports. If you have the full version of Microsoft Access you can use it to create your own custom reports or edit the existing ones. This project will be a freeby when it's finsihed but it is still a 'work in progress' at the moment, however, you are more than welcome to try a copy on the understanding it's used 'at your own risk'. If you would like to have a go with this tiny app. please drop me a line: sales@easyinvoicing.co.uk
VERY nice feature thanks for the time to make it

Hello,
That is unusual because the sort order of those items is specifically set to the entry ID (which effectively acts as the order they are added).
If this issue persists, please email me direct for instructions on how to send me your database so that I can investigate and, hopefully, fix the issue.

Hello,
The reduced price is for version 8 over the summer holiday weeks.
Easy Invoicing UK 9 is not intended to be an upgrade to version 8 because there is still a market for version 8.
Easy Invoicing UK 9 will be a more comprehensive version that will be on sale alongside the other.
Having said that, there will be a financial consideration to all existing customers when it comes to purchasing other products. |

Hi Garry,
Ignoring the title of "Excel" (apologies), when I'm following the instructions on downloading the Easy Invoicing UK 2007.mde file into Access in http://www.easyinvoicing.co.uk/forum/Blah.pl?m-1216715694/ , it's automatically offering me your six reports but not letting me view or correlate the data I need, namely: invoice No. Client, date paid, product, amount paid, tax and deductions. Unfortunately I'm not at all familiar with Access, but is there a way I can download the data tagged to each invoice number so that I can create the spreadsheet I need please?
Very many thanks in anticipation.
PS Have to say, Easy Invoicing is one of the best investments we've ma...

[face=Arial][/face] Hello
So far everything with Easy Invocing has been working fine - until just now. I'm currently raising an invoice and for some reason the system is now listing the products in alphabetical order the moment I move out of the description. An invoice that I produced prior to this had a number of items and this didn't happen, so I don't know what has changed. Please can you advise?
Thanks
Peter |

Hello,
I have not seen this error on an Easy Invoicing UK before.
I would need to examine your database file for errors.
Please email me directly for instructions on how to send your file:

Hello,
I have never been able to link problems specifically with any Windows updates, but it always seems more than a coincidence that when a Windows update has been released we get a small surge of support requests for a short while.
Again, I am more than happy to check your database for you, email me direct for sending details:

| We've just started getting the opposite, duplicate invoice numbers appearing on the statement even though we've only entered it once (though it may have been changed subsequently). We were wondering if it had been caused by a recent windows update for XP? |

Hello,
Sounds like an unusual situation.. haven't seen that before.
If you are happy to send me your database I am sure I can fix this for you.

| I've been using the software for a few months however have just created an invoice that no longer opens/deletes as no invoice number was automaticly created. the only thing i did different was my computer date was 2 months behind so im not sure if the system has got confused with a back dated invoice. Anyone know of a fix?? |

Hi,
No problem.
This 4 minute video clip shows you how to do it:
http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Create-a-Trusted-Folder-Location-in-Microsoft-Access-80732165
You need to add a new 'Trusted Location'... |

excellent news will be looking forward to that then..
will you be adding a purchases/suppliers area in version 9?
Hi,
We aren't sure yet - it's still under discussion here for the particular version we are currently working on.
