Error code 534

Help please. Just changed my email password in settings as I was getting code 535 after I read some info on here.
Now I'm getting error code 534 has anyone any idea what that is. thanks.

Hi,

The error code means that either your email username or password is incorrect.

Please check them and try re-typing them into the program again.

Hi Garry,
I also started getting a 534 email error a few days ago, and found in an internet search that, if you're using Gmail (I am), Gmail consider the relevant app/software to be less secure". Turning off the less secure block in Gmail solved the problem, but now my Gmail account is... less secure!

Is there some way to solve the problem without weakening Gmail security? An software upgrade or something?
